Vision
Our vision
Understand the purpose of Restoration Australia, the values behind the proposal and how practical work can grow from local needs and available skills.
We believe restoration begins with the responsibilities people can recognise and the useful work they can do together. Caring for land, producing food, learning skills and keeping honest commitments are practical foundations for a healthier community.
Restoration Australia brings a developing set of proposals into one place. They connect ecological repair, nourishing food, personal and spiritual wellbeing, moral responsibility and community enterprise. Each proposal needs suitable people, resources and a clear account of how it will work.
We intend to make those proposals understandable and reviewable. A visitor should be able to see what is being considered, what has been agreed, what is operating and what the work has achieved. When a project changes, the public record should change with it.
Where things stand
The programme is in its development stage. All six starter projects are proposals. None is yet operating, and no property, team or funding is announced on this site. Pages will say so plainly until the records show otherwise.
Next steps
Our next steps depend on the work that communities can sustain. We invite people to help shape useful projects, test them carefully and share what is learned so that other places can make informed choices.
