The need or opportunity
Replanting projects need plants that suit the place and are grown with care. Without a dependable supply, planting work stalls or uses unsuitable stock.
Proposed work and present scope
We are exploring a nursery that can grow suitable seedlings for future replanting projects. The proposal connects propagation, local species knowledge and ongoing care with practical restoration work at agreed sites.
The concept would cover seed or stock sourcing, growing space, water, seasonal work, species selection, plant health, distribution and maintenance after planting. Ecological restoration stock is kept distinct from food-growing stock.
